The bill (Reg. No.6451) defines the principles of domestic and foreign policy of Ukraine in the spheres of the national idea development, local self-government and stimulation of the regional development, formation of the public society institutes, national security and defence, economic and social spheres, ecological and technical security spheres, principles of the foreign policy of Ukraine.
The foreign policy is based on the following principles: sovereign equality of the states; forbearance regarding the danger of fighting against the territorial integrity or independence of the state; respect for the territorial integrity of foreign states and inviolability of the state borders; peaceful settlement of the international disputes; respect for human rights and liberties; non-interference in the domestic policy of the other states etc
